DRIVER TRAINING PHILOSOPHY
Our driver training programs are assembled to improve a driver's ability,
awareness and attitude. Focusing on these three areas we conduct all training
to build a reliable set of new habits. We believe as do most experts that
experienced drivers over time develop accident breeding habits that not only
impair their ability to perform in a crisis situation but is often the root
cause of these situations. Our goal is to create a mind set and a correct and
reliable set of driving habits. Habits that will dramatically reduce the amount
of emergency situations and if one should still occur, invoke the correct set
of responses required to perform brilliantly, alertly and precisely in all
driving situations.
We go beyond teaching what to do in specific situations. Rather we use these
situations as examples to discuss vehicle behavior and human responses. This
"big picture" approach is delivered with theory and challenging
practice exercises on a closed course that push the limits of students abilities
in ways they've never experienced before in a controlled and safe environment.
The principals and exercises from the closed course are then applied to every
day driving via our "rolling classroom". This on road training allows
the student to not only apply what they've learned but more importantly they
understand why. That is, if they know why vehicles get out of a driver's
control, they should be able to prevent it from happening. By providing the
right blend of content practice and professionalism we give every student the
skills, mind set and inspiration to be the best driver they can be.
